High-Protein Baked Ziti
Protein pasta baked with seasoned ground beef, zucchini, onion, cottage cheese and tomato sauce under melted light mozzarella and Parmesan — 40 g protein a portion.

Ingredients
- 35 g dry protein pasta (ziti or penne)
- 75 g ground beef
- 40 g low-fat cottage cheese
- 20 g low-fat mozzarella, shredded
- ½ tbsp grated Parmesan
- 110 ml pasta sauce
- 35 g zucchini, chopped
- 10 g yellow onion, chopped
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch onion powder
- 1 pinch Italian seasoning
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Steps
- Cook the pasta according to the package; meanwhile brown the beef with the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Combine the pasta, beef, cottage cheese, pasta sauce, zucchini and onion and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with the mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake at 190°C for 35 minutes, then let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
