Ground Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl
A 15-minute weeknight bowl: ground beef in a sweet soy-garlic bulgogi sauce with mushrooms and onion over hot rice.

Ingredients
- 120 g ground beef
- 210 g cooked rice
- 20 g yellow onion
- 10 g shiitake mushrooms
- ½ green onion
- 1 ¼ tsp neutral oil
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 ¼ tsp sugar
- 1 ¼ tsp mirin
- ½ tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 pinch sesame seeds
- 1 pinch black pepper
Steps
- Mix soy sauce, sugar, mirin, oyster sauce, garlic, sesame oil and pepper into the sauce.
- Slice the onion, mushrooms and green onion.
- Brown the beef in the oil over high heat, then add the onion and mushrooms.
- Pour in the sauce and cook until glossy; stir in the green onion.
- Spoon over hot rice and finish with sesame seeds.
